Electronic Poker is a favored game that is able to be wagered on in casinos all over the world, or alternatively at home on your computer, using a net account. On this account it’s very similar as a normal game of poker, without the line of contact with competing players. Of course, tactics employed during a real-life game of poker, such as tricking, will be useless here.
The game of Electronic Poker starts when the player inserts credits (either tokens, credit slips or cash) into the machine and pushes the deal button. A hand of five cards will then be electronically ‘dealt’ on the screen.
The Electronic Poker game also has buttons with ‘hold’ written on them, and enthusiasts should now decide which cards to keep and which to discard. For the cards the bettor wishes to keep, the ‘hold’ buttons should be pressed so that they light up. The player can choose to keep any amount of cards they wish, from all to none.
After the player has selected which cards he or she wishes to keep, they should press ‘draw’, which will mean that any new cards will be needed they will be dealt. The game is now finished, with the Electronic Poker machine scanning the cards to see if it is the same as any of the winning hands printed on the payment schedule.
Typically, the minimum winning hand on an Electronic Poker machine is a pair of jacks with the award money growing for each better hand. A common list of winning hands begins with jacks or better, and moves on to two pairs, 3 of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, four of a kinds, straight flushes and last but not least royal flushes. It should be known that the pay out schedule can change from machine to machine, so that skillful enthusiasts are able to select the most beneficial machine each and every time.
After the first round has played out, the player can either choose to continue on in an attempt to maximize their winnings, or they can press the ‘collect’ button to retrieve any credits that they may have won. Further, a few versions of the game allow the bettor an opportunity to double their profits, in which situation another game is played. There are also differences between specific games, with some virtual decks having wild cards and other varying elements to enhance playability.
