Electronic Poker is a favored game that can be played in casinos around the world, or in your house on your personal computer, using an Internet account. The game of Video Poker starts when the player puts credits (either tokens, credit slips or cash) into the video poker machine and presses the play button. A hand of five cards will be electronically ‘distributed’ on the video screen.
The Video Poker machine also has hold buttons, and gamblers should now decide which cards to keep and which to discard. For the cards the bettor wishes to keep, the ‘hold’ buttons must be pressed so that they light up. The player can choose to keep any number of cards they wish, whether it’s all or none.
After the player has chosen which cards he wishes to retain, the player will then press ‘draw’, which will mean that any fresh cards are needed they will be handed out. The hand is now finished, with the Video Poker machine analyzing the hand to see if it matches any of the winning hands listed in the pay out schedule.
Typically, the lowest winning hand on an Electronic Poker machine is a pair of jacks with the award money growing for each better hand. A list of common winning hands begins with jacks or better, and moves on to two pairs, 3 of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, 4 of a kinds, straight flushes and finally royal flushes. It definitely goes without saying that the payout schedule can vary from machine to machine, so that experienced bettors are able to pick the most money-making machine every instance.
As soon as the first round has finished, the player can either choose to remain on in an attempt to increase their winnings, or press the ‘collect’ button to cash out any credits that might been won. Further, several styles of the game allow the bettor a chance to increase their profits, in which case a further round is played. There are also differences among individual machines, with some virtual decks including wild cards and other differing elements to increase playability.
